My husband and I are looking into purchasing our first stocks. I am 30 and an engineer. I love math but economic talk makes my eyes glaze over. I want to be informed and create a diverse portfolio with the aim of long term growth over the next 30 to 40 years. I would appreciate any suggested resources to help me learn the basics in a way that doesn’t put me to sleep! I love podcasts but there are so many options. I want to know which ones are worth my time and will cater to an audience of beginners. I really want to be a savvy investor but I am not sure where to start. We are specifically interested in pot stocks as we have heard a lot of buzz around the growing market and I think we should get in on the ground floor. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks in advance.
