Maybe someone here can clear up a question I have regarding Scottrade.
I sold short 100 shares of AAL at noon with a limit order @ 51.20 but my Avg Unit Cost was 51.1288. I don't understand this. Why is it not at 51.20? AAL had good liquidity at the time, spreads were only a penny. Is there some special rule regarding shorting that I'm perhaps clueless on. I know the uptick rule and I know orders sometimes usually don't get filled in at exactly the price you want (I'm aware of FOK) but this was a very small order.
Here is a image of my trades so you can see for yourself what I mean: http://ift.tt/1AnkoLH
