I am watching a number of small cap biotech stocks on stocktwits. Through this I've learned that stocks never go down in this sector because better opportunities arise elsewhere - it's always some nefarious conspiracy :) One of the most commonly cited I see is wanting to drive out the retail investor. Snark aside, is this a real thing? I know people take institutional investment % into account when making decisions, but is it that important?
