in early 2015, I made the mistake of putting $10k in a biotech mutual fund. at the time, this represented 40% of my wealth. biotechs were on a roll and I bought at a time when this mutual fund was at an all time high. now this fund is worth $6500. I know you are not advised to sell at a loss but it doesn't seem like biotech is recovering as well as the rest of the market. politicians, especially democrats, are on record saying they want to stop drug price gouging which would affect this fund if they were to win the presidential election. I'm 24 and I don't need this money immediately. does anyone have advice on what I should do?
