Wanting to get into day trading, 18 years old.

Before the main content of my post, I understand that day trading is volatile, and that there is a reasonable chance I will lose money.

I have done a bit of research on day trading as well as started using marketwatch.com's virtual trading. I go to school 8am-5pm every day, and work 4 days a week, 5 hrs a day (5pm-10pm). Paychecks are weekly, and I usually make ~150/check, and I currently have $150 saved up (I didn't have much financial etiquette in the past.) Would day trying have any probability, and if so, what are tips that would be good for a beginner? I'm not solid on it having to be day trading, but my overall goal is profit in short term, not building a portfolio.
