Will Trump Affect the US Stock Market?

Trump will not have a dramatic impact on the markets long term. We may see some short term volatility, but nothing that will change the long term trajectory of the markets. Interest rates are the main thing to consider when investing for the next couple years. The US stock market is the only option for investors in this low interest rate market. CDs and money markets are a waste of time. Bonds are almost as bad. International markets are too volatile. The US equity market is the only viable investment option for most investors. However, when interest rates are raised that will create options aside from the US stock market. CDs, bonds, and Money Markets will come back into play. Money will flow out of the US equity market and we will finally get the pullback everyone has been waiting for. Rising interest rates will impact the market, not Trump.
