I am the founder of Glasgow University based spin-out Scoop Analytics (http://ift.tt/2e5I2Yk). Our algorithms monitor thousands of tweets per second in order to identify the news (many minutes) before it becomes mainstream. The algorithms were built upon many years of research during our PhD's and in the last few weeks, we have finished development of our web dashboard.
Unfortunately, we are techies and not traders however - so although we know we can "get the news before everyone else", we are struggling to understand what news is relevant for stock / forex trading purposes.
Therefore, I'm looking to meet any interested traders in London for a coffee / beer to ask a few questions about:
- what / how you currently trade
- how you see our algorithm helping you make more profitable trades.
