stock market on June 16, 2017: thoughts and outlook

1. quadruple witching has no impact on the S&P 500 in the medium term. As a medium term investor, I ignore it.
2. The recent weakness in economic data is enough to cause a small correction but not enough to cause a bear market (not even close).
3. U.S. corporate earnings are growing strongly thanks to the tech and energy sectors.
