Ok so here me out on this. So cisco is buying out duo for the sole purpose of its multi factor authentication, seeing as thats all they do and of course they want the customer base that duo already has. Duos multifactor authentication is specifically out of band authentication (ooba). The thing is DUO is currently being sued by stikeforce technologies-SFOR, who own the patents to ooba authentication. And according to court documents they where in settlement negotiations before another case got an alice 101. And they are currently in appeal and looking for a strong reversal. Seeing as their patents have been validated twice by the patent office, IPR win. Wouldnt this small cap stock be a sure thing. By the way duo is being bought for 2.3 bill. Just want this subs opinion as ive been invested in sfor for a while now.
