Stocks that are Rising/Falling And Why (11 December 2018)

Each day I go through the top rising and falling stocks today, and look for (a) what the company actually does, and (b) why the stock is moving so much. Hopefully this saves you some digging!

Below are my notes from 10 December 2018 as of mid-morning. (This list is limited to companies with market cap >$500 million, and also excludes VIX, short ETFs, etc, as these just reflect the market, rather than individual companies.)

7% At Home Group Inc. (HOME) Revenue/earnings beat, but investors reacted negatively (Home furnishings)
7% DSW Inc. (DSW) Revenue/earnings beat and guidance raise (Footwear retailer)

-14% CalAmp Corp. (CAMP) Lowered forecast due to supply chain disruptions (Wireless communications)
-12% Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. (ACOR) Goldman Sachs downgraded to "Sell" (Pharma, neurological disorders)
-11% Aramark (ARMK) Unclear, perhaps due to ongoing student protests (Food services)
-6% Versum Materials, Inc. (VSM) Goldman Sachs downgraded to "Sell" (Electronics for displays)
