Hi everyone!
Nice day today and relatively painless. I started off with a trade from my plan, NRZ short at $14.82 but I didn't like the way it was acting so I took it off for a small gain at $14.79. That turned out to be a good decision ... guess it wasn't ready yet but no biggie! Also I grabbed some AT at $2.97 from my back burner list and as expected over 3 it spiked nicely. I sold into the spike $3.06-3.07 throughout the morning. I actually plan to revisit this tomorrow or wed for a swing if it can get back under $3. Also I had a nice scalp in INO but just as I was about to sell I clicked the wrong button and bought more, lol so ended up getting out for flat when it came down cause I raised the avg up with the accidental buy. I herp derped a bit on that one but oh well. Finally I tried SNSS at $2.43 for a $2.50 break but it wasn't able to get over $2.45 so I took it off flat. So as usual most of my gains came from one stock but hey...whatever works! Here's my plan for tomorrow:
NKA, RGDO - Still stalking these. I am long NKA from $1.96 avg and RGDO from $1.32 avg but watching RGDO as you guys know to add over $1.50 for a day trade and NKA I just wanted to toss it on the list in order to do a quick analysis of it. Seems that the 60 min is just coiling up, riding the trend. I still have my stop relatively loose and will be ok adding down to $1.80 but I'd prefer it stay above $1.90 ... it does keep getting bought up at the end of the day though so I'm thinking that's a bullish sign and it's only a matter of time til it reclaims $2 and holds and then it should be off to the races.
ONP - Getting very extended up here. Each day I keep watching bidders walk it higher but eventually there should be a blowoff top and it should collapse. I'm thinking $1.75-1.85 might be the peak but will watch how it acts around $1.70 and have been studying the volume each day to see if it drops off or spikes (usually any abnormal volume change from one day to the next, up or down, can indicate a pending reversal on this type). Nice thing is it's a slow mover on the way up so I can just chill and play it hour by hour.
JUNO - Would like to see a pullback to $51.30-51.80 to start a long. This is a spready and risky stock but with biotechs being so hot I can see people jumping all over it if it starts to get a little juice. It tried to break out on Friday and couldn't hold but it came right back today and held so I think over $54 it can really rip. If I can get in mid-$51s I will give it a buck or so for a stop and have $54+ target. If any gap up or flat open and immediate rush out of the gate, I will leave it alone til it sets up a clean long pattern intraday.
PRSS - As I said in my weekly review I think this will rip out of this daily pattern soon for a run to $4.25-4.50 HOWEVER it needs to be treated as a swing. A PR hit today about insider buying on 3/12 so tomorrow after people absorb that news it may start to take off. If it can hold above $3.50 I'll grab it for a swing with $4.25-4.75 target and $3-3.25 stop loss.
SIGM - Awesome breakout and finally held over $7.50 so I'll be looking for any pullback over the next 2 days toward $7.60-7.50 for a swing trade. If it goes red to green I will probably treat it like a day trade and just start building a cushion for the swing.
My list is a bit convoluted right now and I actually don't see anything I'm SUPER attached to except possibly RGDO and ONP. JUNO, PRSS and SIGM are nice but each have their fallbacks. JUNO very spready, SIGM the easiest entry was today which I missed and PRSS is just thin as death which is always annoying. Anyway I'm going to leave it at this for now. I do like AT for a continuation and have AMRN, MELA, ATHX and a few others on the back burner, but overall there's just nothing I'm super attached to...a whole lotta maybe so I won't be too aggressive on anything except RGDO!
Hope y'all had a good day!
Chris
