The 1d and 5d interactive charts on Yahoo Finance now show trades outside NYSE trading hours, but I can't figure out their time scale, other than that it shows New York time.
Opening and closing times (9:30 AM & 4PM) are marked with a sun and moon respectively, but the distance between close and open is highly variable. What determines that distance?
There is one time marked with a clock face during the night, but the time is very variable. 4AM is overrepresented, and other times it seems to mark price peaks. What is special about 4AM?
On what markets are these night trades being made? In the case of GLD, it seems like that's where all the action is.
Is there any place where Yahoo explains this page?
Is there any way for ordinary American punters to trade on these overnight exchanges?
It's really frustrating to have stop and limit orders set, and have them bypassed by opening gaps resulting from markets we have no access to.
