Who here does options trading? What has been your experience?

I've had a long history with options, from learning about how to price them in my degree prior to the global financial crisis. I just got into buying some (open to buy) longer term contracts. I understand the theory relatively well, and how people price(d) them (Black-Scholes). People with experience, what are some things I should look out for?
