Transportation safety board of Canada is the curator of crash records. It has selected law enforcement officer, who in the normal course of duty investigates a motor vehicle crash that outcome in injury to or the death of a person or damage to the property of any one person, to submit an paper report of that crash to safety board, not later than the 10th day following the date of the crash. It collects crash reports from every law enforcement agency in Canada and for crashes that take place on any public roadway.
