Stock Watch: Robin Hood

Hello,

I an a beginner planning on finally using real money to get experience in the market and learn in the real world. With a small portfolio I don't want to loose money on commissions and I've heard good things about Robin Hood, but is it actually legit? What are the cons - I'm not going to get screwed right?
