2017 Predictions

OK, so before I get started with this thread here, let me first just get this out of the way by saying that the purpose of this is thread is largely meant to be in good fun. Don't take anything that gets posted on here too seriously. As we all know, predictions (whether they are trading related or what) are mostly meant to be left at the door. While it's interesting to discuss. But, mostly they aren't meant to be taken too literal. Take 'em with a grain of salt. For example if someone says "AMD to 1000 and beyond in 2017!" You should know that isn't to be taken serious. Some might say this thread is an entirely pointless exercise. But, again it's just meant to be in good fun for the most part as we ring in the new year. So with that being said let's get this on.

I saw StockTwits conducting this the other day, so I thought to carry it over here to r/StockMarket to see what kind of responses we get from the community here.

Please try to keep your predictions/commentary realistic. Saying something like "Zombie Apocalypse, Alien Invasion" is not very practical. Also, I ask that you try to keep your predictions stock market related, as we are stock market sub.

These predictions can be pretty much anything stock market related ... like you think the S&P500 is going to end the year at 2500 in 2017. Or you think AAPL is going back to $90 in 2017. Or you think financials will be the big winner in 2017. Whatever it may be.

So, w/o further ado have at it with your 2017 predictions! Curious to hear what kind of sentiment we have going here at r/StockMarket in the new year.

I will save this thread and bring it up again by year's end to see how many of us got our WAG's (wild ass guesses) for 2017 correct.
