Hi there,
New to these parts and I'm not sure how to properly phrase my question.
When it comes to commodities and stocks subject to volatility, is there a resource or a book I could read about cause and effect and it's implications to the stock market?
Things like:
Prolonged Winter and it's affect on Natural Gas.
Fear in the FED can cause increase in Gold.
How Fords Choice to build in Michigan seems to have boosted it's stock by 9%.
Or the whole event in Trading Places regarding crop outlook on Oranges?
I understand that correlation does not equal causation, and that things like the company portfolio or timing of earnings reporting can affect as well, but I'm only looking for a typical event/ripple analysis.
