hey guys,
new here. essentially i've been in the stock game for a little while. every 4 months i invest $2-3k into stocks and have so far done well for myself (the last thing i will do is brag but this is for the sake of discussion. if that was at all bragging to any of you)... i was extremely bullish on facebook & NVDA in the early going of both and have done well for myself in that regard. i invested in netflix before it split and that was a beneficial thing as well. i put some change into AmD and that's been OK. most recently i put a lot into FNMA. before i get a bit criticized for it, i was looking for a low risk high reward stock and it fit that profile. i bought a lot of the stock when it was at 25 cents and sold it when it hit $2.00 and now i've bought more at $2.75. i like that purchase but it's just to show what i'm working with (doesn't hurt the people Trump has appointed).... that said, it's around the time to invest 2k into a new stock. i know it's not large money but I'm looking for something I could sink my teeth into (hoping at or around $2.00 / share) i've either grown too lazy or i am over analyzing the market but have a very short and unsatisfying list. any tips or even suggestions to look into would be great. as a heads up i don't do oil or penny stocks. not the most compelling investment but again, any help is appreciated. cheers
*after reading a few more posts i've found it's not rude and or in any way impressive to share approximate amounts of portfolios. asides from a large sum that's left with UBS, i trade around ~$55k in my own personal account. this 2k investment I'm asking about could be bumped up to around $5-8k depending on my own research into suggestions. Thank you!!
