What do you use to calculate fair value?

Calculating fair value is a very important part of the stock investment process. It is one thing I've yet to fully develop. I've thought of taking the average analyst expectation of all analyst made over the past year, but that's generic and I know there's a better way.

So I am interested in hearing the methods that others us to calculate the fair value of a stock.
