Stock Watch: Confusion between technicals and outlook.

I bought into this penny stock years ago and held on to it with the hopes that one day graphene will make me rich. (someone asked me, so you're investing in carbon?!)

These two news items recently came out. One gave me hope. The other made me flush.

I don't have a specific question. I'm just wondering if someone knowledgeable might breifly "speak to it" regarding this dichotomy.
