How to buy stocks before annual general meeting?

So I'm experimenting with how I want to trade and I want to try buying stocks of a company a day before the general meeting. How can I predict if the stock price will rise?? Like in terms of looking at news, finding estimates, looking at financial statements etc... Thanks
