Does the time it take for a stock purchase to go through effect how much is actually bought?

Sorry for my ignorance, I'm still learning and just trying to verify what I've read. For instance, if I purchase $1000 worth of stock at $5/share and during the processing time it takes for my order to go through that stock goes up to $10/share, will I still have purchased the original 200 shares I intended to buy or 100 shares?
