Hey,
I'm new to this and I had a question about bid-ask. What if someone wanted to screw with a market price of a stock trading at 100. So he had an ask price much higher like 130 and had his friend buy it. Does that change the entire price of the stock?
Or conversely he wanted to get in cheap so he sells a share for 50 and buys in since the stock is now at 50.
I'm sure there's a major flaw or problem in there besides the illegality but what is if?
