So, I had been reading that $ASFI (who last paid out a dividend in 2012) is going to pay out a dividend of $5.30 at the end of the month. It's currently sitting at $11.25/share, but from what I understand about dividends the price per share will drop by the amount of the dividend payment. Is it even worth it to buy into it for the dividend payment, or will I end up losing money on it by getting in on it now (record of shareholders is Feb. 16th) and then selling next month?
