Amazon just passed Alphabet to become the world's second most valuable company

Here are the main points (highlights):

  • Apple is now the only company more valuable than Amazon.

  • Amazon has surged 35 percent this year, dwarfing Alphabet's 4 percent gain.

  • Meanwhile, Facebook's slide has dropped its value back below Berkshire Hathaway.

Note: I am a fan of all three, but I think something is wrong with the market. come on Amazon have cash of $19 Billion while Alphabet (Google) have $100 Billion and Apple have cash of $300 Billion. And also have less profit than both companies. However in terms revenue, it Apple- $229 Billion, Amazon- $177 Billion, and Alphabet- $110 Billion. Apple core businesses are Consumer Electronics/Hardware and Software; Amazon is ecommerce and cloud computing; and Alphabet (Google) is Google and Other Bets.
