Robinhood

I am a beginner in the stock market, I would like to know if Robinhood is a great app to start with? I have had Robinhood for a month now, I have dropped $500 into the market into 4 stocks. I’m also trying to find a book to read to educate myself, maybe some things you all know now that you wish you knew then would be helpful?
