A family friend purchased 100 shares of a communications company that was worth $1 per share in 2003. Fast forward a decade of me being irresponsible in my 20’s and the family friend’s passing, I began to inquire about the stocks. I spoke with brokers from the company I believe traded to our friend, and his son, but I never received and answer. I’m clueless in this area and any advice would help.
