I inherited a chunk of stock in a bank. The stock was at a historic high on the inheritance date. Before it was transferred to me it dropped, and is now down 12%. Dividends are about 3.5% annual. Should i: A. Dump it? B. Wait for a recovery (which could be 2 - 4 years but I dont need the money now)? C. Wait for it to start moving back up and cost average it?
