I'm currently getting into investing and i mainly want to day trade. I'm still in the process of studying more before truly getting into it. I'm also looking for a good broker to start off, one with low commission fees, and low minimum account balance ($1000). If you have any suggestions please let me know thanks. So the question is why is 25k the minimum to day trade exactly, someone had said it was the law which kind of confused me.
