I think I know how they work, but it seems too good to be true.
Let's look at $ORC for example. $0.14 monthly per stock. If it's selling at 10 dollars, that is 1.4% interest. Multiply that by 12, and you get a yearly interest rate of 16.8%. That's extremely high, and that can't be correct. What am I missing here? What is stopping me from putting 10,000 now, and in 40 years when I retire having 5,000,000 dollars for free?
