Question: Selling at a loss to buy dip?

Disclaimer: New to speculation and the stock market.

Say I have 100 shares of a stock worth $1 a piece. The stock drops to .50 cents a share. However I know for a fact that it's going to go up to 1.50 tomorrow.

My question is, does it make sense to sell at a loss and buy the dip? Average down? Or stay with what I have? Having a hard time wrapping my mind around this. Thanks!

Edit: I'm effing retarded. Please ignore my blatant idiocy and downvote the shit out of this.
