Netflix is like Tesla in the pre- model 3 earnings reports. Burn cash to make more cash later.

Tesla was spending A TON of cash on innovations, projects, acquisitions, but in the end they came out with a solid product.

Netflix is investing into itself to grow faster in the digital media space than any other company on the market no matter it's size. All in house, production as well as delivering the product to you as the customer. This is the new digital Hollywood!
