Apple's Journey to a $1 Trillion Company

Video regarding this issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mtPsiJZ_rg

Apple reached a market value of $1 trillion on Thursday, propelled by the sustained success of the iPhone. WSJ's Spencer Jakab takes a look at how Apple got here.

Critics say: t's just a number. Imagine what Apple could do with leadership and the innovation that seeded the growth and justified the Apple tax. Meanwhile Tim sits nervously on a massive cash-hoard, launching 3 iPhone models simultaneously while sales have been overtaken by Chinese phone-maker Huawei. It's a big boat with huge latency - loyal Apple users are weary and buying alternatives. Once gone, we won't be coming back. Share prices are illusions based on market trading - not on actual value. The days of an Apple short might be closer than $1T suggests. It'll be big.

Which company do you think will be the next to hit 1 trillion on the stock market?
