I know what is a short. I took this from invesopedia: Short selling involves borrowing shares from a broker, selling the shares on the open market and buying the shares back in order to return them to the broker. The hope is that, once the shares are borrowed and sold, the price of the shares fall, allowing the investor to repurchase the shares at a price lower than the amount for which the shares sold, resulting in a monetary gain.
Now I want to know if my stocks are being shorted. I found http://shortdata.ca. Let's take a look at RY: http://ift.tt/2l2sdFs
There is a report on Feb 1. How is this relevant? I mean it does not tell me about the current situation, it gives me a report of the last 15 days. Maybe it is relevant today because we are Feb 02, but how this could be relevant for tomorrow ? You can see a trend I guess... but what else ?
Thank you
