I Think TSLA is Having A Wider Impact On Miners Than EV's...Thoughts?

I've been seeing a lot of negative press on TSLA...that's great and all but it doesn't take away from the fact that mining for cobalt, lithium, graphite, etc could legitimately see a huge boom in the very near term. Look at some of the biggest companies in 2017 that topped charts (https://medium.com/stock-market-source/3-mining-stocks-to-watch-in-q3-1602a2b9992).

Mining companies closed out 2017 on a high note, as the market capitalization of the top 25 mining global companies increased by $195.86 US billion. The top 25 global mining companies market cap amounted to $753.59 billion last year, which is an increase of 35% from 2016.

It's just a matter of time....so while people are hating on Tesla, I'm watching and buying basic materials. Just wanted to see what other opinions were...and again, not looking for a discussion on what TSLA will or will not do but the impact that EV growth from companies like it will have.
