Scanner/charting software for historical data on EPS?

Hi all!

Newbie at investing/trading here, currently trying to gain as much knowledge on the subject through reading books and online sources.

I was wondering if there is a scanner or charting software/website of some sort that is able to filter out companies based on a % change in quarterly EPS, or have its historical EPS data on some sort of graphical chart?

In the many publicly traded companies out there on the market, how do you guys cut through the clutter and know where to start looking in the first place? I've previously tried narrowing it down by filtering by ATR, trading volume and Mark % change on thinkorswim, and the resulting companies that appear (some of which include ABIL CBIO COOL tickers) have really weird looking charts that don't resemble chart patterns that I've been reading about in books. Or maybe I'm looking at them the wrong way. Either way, I'm currently reading how to make money in stocks by william o'neil, and am looking into a more fundamental approach, and hence the question on EPS. Any advise would be helpful!

Thanks!
