Hey r/StockMarket
Im currently building a dividend portfolio and I was looking to get some information. I plan on having 1 or 2 dividend heavy stocks for each industry but need some help picking my first energy company.
My top three choices are:
Canadian Utilities (TSE:CU)
Capital Power Corporation (TSE:CPX)
Emera Inc. (TSE:EMA)
Im leaning towards Emera as they seem to have a longer history. However CPX has a ratio of 127.48%?
How can someone have a higher ratio then what they make? Or are they just playing catch up and getting rid of extra cash? Anyone have these in which they're currently holding?
