I've posted this in /r/stocks as well, but thought this idea would work well here, too.
A friend of mine wrote a great program called My Smart Trader, which analyzes data from 10,000 stocks (and other financial instruments) to pick good buying opportunities for both the short term and the long term in both small cap and large markets. (forgive me if I use the terminology wrong, I'm a sales guy, not a technical guy lol)
The site is http://ift.tt/NXJaAh] and signup is free with no personal information collected. Feel free to create a phony account with no info at all just to see how it works.
The reason we are offering this for free is we need savvy investors to test the picks and see how the tool fares in the "real world". All we need is for as many people as possible to follow as many stocks as they want to their watchlists, and see how those picks do in either 3rd party watchlists, or their own tracking tools. IF (and thats a big if) you feel comfortable investing your own money into some of the stocks, you are welcome to, but its not necessary for the data we're trying to gather. If you see any bugs, or have any changes in mind, we of course welcome the feedback.
If you have any questions before or after you check it out, feel free to post them below and I'll answer as many as I can.
