Transaction costs of futures e-mini scalping?

I have been trading Forex for quite some time now, so I am well-versed and understand the risks, methodology, and mindset of trading.

After hundreds of hours of chart time, I've learned how to judge order flow to predict the movement of currencies within the next several ticks with a high degree of accuracy. I have one of the cheapest Forex brokers around, but my methodology cannot overcome the transaction costs the majority of the time. So even though I am "right" as to where price went in the next 100 ticks, I am usually just sitting at a break-even trade or a very tiny profit.

So I am looking at other instruments where my skills might actually be able to turn me a profit. I understand that in trading e-mini futures contracts on the S&P 500, one tick is equal to $.25 USD.

What's the typical transaction cost in ticks that I would have as a retail trader on the ES (spread + commissions) per contract? Can anyone suggest a reliable broker? Thanks in advance.
