ELI5: Why do insiders sometimes sell and then immediately buy back the same amount?

Here's an example of what I'm talking about

http://ift.tt/29zixz9

On 5/17/2016, Executive Chairman of $DAL sold 912,000 shares and then bought back the exact same number of shares later the same day. The very next day, the CEO sold 100,000 shares and then bought back the exact same number of shares later the same day. As far as I can tell, the price of the stock barely even moved during those 2 days, so what is the significance of this? I feel like there must be something I'm not understanding here.
