Where can I find historical index divisor data?

I'm interested in gathering historical divisor information (each time a divisor has changed)

I'm interested because I'd like to plot the divisor data against a few other data points (inflation, market value, etc...) as part of a research project. Problem is that I am finding conflicting information, is there an official resource that Google is not turning up? Or do the vast majority of investors only care what the divisor is right now?
