Beginner question: does bid price prior on ask price?

Hello,

Let's say there is a stock worth 1$, and people are selling it for this price.

Lets's say I think this stock will go up tomorrow and I place a bid over the ask price (let's say 2$)

Will I get my stocks for the price sellers asking or for the price I'm bidding?
