Context: I have no interest in trading penny stocks, but am interested in understanding why companies trade on the OTC. Are any of the companies on OTC markets legitimate?
How do the executives at these companies make money? I understand by selling shares? But if shares are worth so little, I'm left confused.
I get how penny stock traders make (or should I say lose?) money but don't understand from the perspective of the company whose shares are traded.
