TL;DR Stock traded below my buy, order didn't fill: Why?
So here's the breakdown: I'm fairly new to investing and have an account with Halifax NZ which operates through Interactive Brokers.
I had a limit order placed for 600 units of $SPEX at $1.20 good till cancelled, all or none with a stop loss set at $1.04.
On the 30/01/2017 (01/30/2017 for you Americans) I checked up on them and it was trading at $1.14 and my order hadn't filled! So I cancelled the order straight away sensing that something wasn't quite right.
I have contacted my broker about this and they will "get back to me"
Would love some ideas as to why this didn't fill as it just doesn't make sense to me
