InfraREIT...questionable morals..??

If you are not familiar with (HIFR) go check out this recent slideshow they released..

Now HIFR is in a battle with multiple other companies over the assets of Oncor, which recently went bankrupt. Oncor has valuable assets including "the grid" which is a lucrative energy grid that was left behind after deregulation in the 2000s. Where this gets interesting is one of the companies battling for these assets in owned by Warren Buffett. And we know Buffett is not getting involved in something if its not worth $$. You might be thinking if Buffett wants something isn't he just going to take it? However, Buffett probably has a break point where if it gets above a certain price he won't pull the trigger on it. PRICE is important in this write up for 2 reasons. 1. Would HIFR really pay a premium to own these assets? Yes bc they have more of a determination to win. Why?... (2)... http://ift.tt/2wEn5NU Does this article focus on a really small group of people? Yeah it sucks for them but sharryland and infrareit still have the control in the situation. The company structures are taking advantage of the current tax and corporate laws and in an industry as well connected to Texas as oil. And the connections and lobbying influence of the hunt family along with everyone else in the energy sector who would negatively benefit from a change of these laws I highly doubt anything would happen....but.... Is this moral? Is HIFR going to be able to reduce prices with this acquisition of Oncor's assets or is HIFR going to use this as a means to continue raking in $$? The investment: Is the swap already integrated into the stock? I think it may be...but regardless with that addition, if it happens, they'll have a good hold on Texas energy and they have a pretty high dividend. They also own a good amount of warehouses which are valuable with e commerce....I think it'll out perform its expectations and the stock price will up. I bought stock BUT also bought puts expiring in November (after earnings) to protect myself if the deal falls through...or the public crucifys HIFR....
