Online retail sales were 8.9% of total retail sales as of Q2 2017. They were only 7.1% two years prior. This percentage has never stopped increasing since it was first calculated in Q4 1999. Apparel & accessories has grown faster than overall online sales in 12 of the last 15 quarters.
