(pardon the ignorance) Before i was born my g-ma bought $2000 dollars in General Electric stock in 2001 when they where around $40 a piece. But saying it has dropped to $14 dollars Ive been wanting to invest in other markets that i think would be more profitable in the long run. She bought them for me as a birthday gift.
I am 16 and Gma has long since passed. is there a way that i can invest GE into other stocks or do i have to wait until im 18?
