Maybe it's the people around me, but it seems that people are taking a bullish outlook on Ford. The company has been underperforming and falling in price steadily for 5 years. Yet for some reason they only have a little less than %3 short of float. I understand that they have a high dividend and a very low P/E but if the price keeps plummeting how will anyone make any money? If someone invested 5 years ago with how much the price has dropped would they still have made a profit from dividends? I wouldn't think so. As usual please excuse my inexperience if this is a dumb question I am an amateur, but if any of you Ford bulls could help me understand this that would be great.
