Recently started looking at jumping into the world of individual stocks... Before I make the jump, I would like to understand what differentiates a good company from a bad company.
Based on a company's filing (Income Statement, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet), what are some good trends/ratios and bad trends/ratios to be aware of?
Taking it a step further into qualitative measures, any important items to review in SEC filings (10Ks, etc.)?
I appreciate your advice!
