I'm trying to get into the stock market and learn how it works, as well as to see where I can start and how to start. I did a bit of research upon the subject but many sites don't really help when it comes to starting.
I'm 19 currently employed working in electroless copper plating I make okay money to get me by as well as to help my dad with bills or with anything he needs help with. The reason I want to learn is that I'm hoping that one day I can pay for my younger sisters college and get my older sister out of work, as well as to be able to tell my dad he can retire and go back to his hometown without a worry.
My background: I'm a second generation Hispanic, I lived for 14 years of my life with my mom but on April 4th of this year she passed away due to breast cancer. The situation was occurring while I was in high school from my sophomore year to my senior year during that time I was working as well to reduce the stress on her as much as I could. She couldn't get any proper medical or financial aid due to the fact that she wasn't u.s citizen (she's been in u.s for over 20 years ) she worked up till the point where WE (My sister and I) had to call her job and tell them she couldn't work anymore. She was a major inspiration to me.She worked whiles getting chemo and radiation she never gave up. I give this information not to be pitied or ask for donations but to give more insight as to why I seek to learn, and why set my goal where its at right now ( to pay for my sisters college and retire both my older sister and my dad)
